Our headshot sessions begins with a free phone consultation  to discuss the end-result desired and pick a convenient time and date. We want to convey the feeling and mood of your profession - wether it's up-beat & happy, serious, hip & cool, sexy, fun or simply professional. For our in-studio sessions, we start by taking dozens of professional shots with many flattering angles directed by our talented posing coach. Next, we show you all of the best headshots and help you pick your favorite. Then we edit the photo in Photoshop to magazine quality. We can remove any blemishes, brighten teeth/eyes, remove or add hair, enhance body shape, tailor clothing, basically - anything you want! We can even take your favorite face and photoshop it onto your favorite body pose. The options are limitless. This unique in-studio headshot process offers our clients control over their image and ensures 100% customer satisfaction. 

The process from start to finish typically takes less than  1 hour with the final photo unbranded and copyright free - delivered in both color (and black and white upon request) to your email at the end! So there's no waiting for your headshot and there's no surprises. You'll know you love the shot as you'll have just watched the editing process until you're satisfied. 

We also offer unique and creative headshot sessions to all of the greater Cleveland and Akron areas. If you're looking to book us for 7+ associate headshots on the same day we offer on-location shoots for $1400+. It's our amazing in-studio headshot process described above which results in 1 professionally edited shot for each associate in both color (and black and white upon request). Each associate gets to preview their images IMMEDIATELY after the shoot and select their favorite, ensuring satisfaction! We can do a traditional tighter headshot cropping, full body or seated. Our unique MERGED GROUP HEADSHOTS are great for groups of 4 or more (see sample below). This unique service offers a one of kind experience for individual staff members, while still resulting in a magical group shot. We provide each staff member with a private session that ensures they'll capture a pose and photo they love! Then our staff expertly merges individuals together in Photoshop into one Group Image. *$300/person is an average price and may vary. This includes 1 full body solo shot provided and then a final merged image with all team members. Adding or subtracting to image after final delivery is additional fee. To get this special pricing all members will be required to sign up during select shoot days/times. Later additions of staff will be charged a different rate = $200 for their solo shoot + $150 for adding/subtracting staff member to image ($350 total per person after original image is complete). This huge studio, rented solely for YOU, has so much beautiful natural light with access to modern, neutral props of all sorts, tables, chairs, couches, a bed, large factory pained windows and vintage light wood flooring. You can even rent a selection of beautiful painted & neutral color backdrops for an additional fee. It has a changing room, wardrobe rack, mini fridge, vanity and more! CONS: You must be completely packed up & wrapped up to be out on time as this amazing space is often booked back-to-back with photographers. Natural light with plenty of seating options, colorful backgrounds, iconic steps, cafe vibe area, industrial/ modern and an iconic Akron urban city street vibe outdoors + more. The main atrium and some side hallways is what’s accessible. You will have some foot traffic to work around, but the staff are supportive of the shoot - because they are making profit if you rent the atrium. Must be during open hours - contact the museum for current rates/ hours/ restrictions.

Cleveland Art Museum - Cleveland, Ohio - Indoor/ Outdoor

FREE in there beautiful gardens or main atrium/ lobby during open hours. WIDE OPEN Spaces, modern and classic backdrops, impressive architecture, beautiful natural light, a variety of timeless furniture and seating options, and gorgeous scenes inside & out. Con’s - you will have to share the space with guests and other photographers, shooting inside must be during open hours. You cannot shoot in the galleries - only the atrium - but it’s still enough options to get diverse and incredible backgrounds.

Fees may apply, contact to find current rates. Pros - this is beautiful, bright, neutral - mostly white walls which is ultra flattering when it comes to lighting. There’s even rainbow paper that creates a rainbow light effect at certain times. There’s a beautiful mural and other pops of color & design that would work well with most brands. This space is really set up perfectly for anyone who’s brand includes yoga, wellness, health, spirituality or if you’re just looking for a simple fresh shooting location.

FREE just buy a delicious treat after your shoot & tag them to show your gratitude! This place is filled with color pops, mod furniture and decor, bright light and a crazy fun exterior! There’s also an old bank vault you can grab pics in. Con’s - you must shoot during open hours & work around other guests, although we’ve never been there when it’s super busy.

HEADSHOT EDITING PACKAGE $50+

Our goal is to capture your best side strait out of the camera so we suggest you review your final files before ordering this package as most clients love the our photos without retouching. While basic editing like color adjusting is included in your photo package, we do have the skills to provide our popular magazine-quality editing skills. We always edit per customer's specific request, options include (but aren't limited to):

-Teeth whitening
-Eye brightening
-Basic Face and Body Blemish removal
-Skin softening where needed
-Subtle and natural waist/curves/body sliming and/or enhancement
-Male hair line enhancement
-Adding volume to hair
-Removal of tags or other wardrobe enhancements
-Altering background image

If you decide you'd like these retouching services, simply email us a list of your favorite file #s along with the specific retouching requests and we'll get started! We also offer our very popular in-person editing sessions (at no extra cost), you can direct and watch while your photos are edited and most of the time the final files are emailed to you before you even leave the studio! Editing sessions that are not in person require a 2-3 week turnaround time - but always feel free to ask for your files rushed if they're needed sooner!

Makeup

MATTE, MATTE, MATTE. For makeup matte and powder based foundations photograph way better than reflective, shiny or liquid foundations. If you love your liquid foundation - consider bringing a translucent setting powder to minimize shine. DO NOT wear a lot of shimmer, shiny or sparkly highlighters or eyeshadows as it gives the model a greasy, shiny look - despite how much you may love highlighter in your every-day-life. Makeup tends to fade out in photos - so consider wearing a more heavy makeup look than you do for everyday. For example, if you were dressing up for a wedding or nice dinner that style of makeup would be more appropriate for a headshot. You might even consider false lashes (but the  NATURAL styled - NOT Lady Gaga style - unless that represents YOU) as they can really help the eyes pop! If you have a break out or got no sleep the night before - no worries we can edit your images to remove any blemishes, whiten teeth, soften wrinkles, under-eye bags and so much more! If it’s not included with your package, just ask and we’ll add it on for a fee. 

Hair

For hair styles we recommend wearing your hair for the photoshoot the way you would for a nice dinner out. Get your highlights & grey covered if that’s how you prefer your hair. We do not recommend trying out a new hair style for your headshot, as experiments can have mishaps and you don’t want to show up stuck with a new color/ cut/ style that you hate. For headshot packages that include editing, we can easily add volume, remove fly-aways, add color to thinning spots for men, slightly move down hair-lines and fill in bald spots. If editing is not included in your package - you can always ask about adding this service on. 

Wardrobe

Although you may be showing up for what you think is just a “headshot” you will want to ensure you dress head-to-toe. Sometimes we shoot the full-body or a pose where you’re sitting and a foot may show up. Often people say, I wish I would’ve brought nicer shoes. So even if you don’t think you’ll need them - bring them in case! If you do your nails - come with them done, this is another thing people say - I wish I would have done them. For example if you’re doing an arm’s crossed pose - your hands will show up. Remove any bracelets, watches, jewelry, accessories  you do not want in the shot - they often peak out of the sleeve and show up even if you think you’re hiding them.  If you where glasses, we’ll be doing headshots with them on and off so we can photoshop out the glare. More tailored suits and shirts are more flattering than baggy suits. Dark colors like Black, Navy, Dark grey are more sliming than white or pastels. Horizontal patterns will make you look wider, while vertical patterns will make you look taller. Tight patterns, like houndstooth and tight checkers/ stripes look BAD in online media as they look like an optical illusion. In general you should wear colors you LOVE on yourself and outfits that you think, “I look good whenever I wear this.” Dressing in what makes you feel most confident will help you appear confident in the end photo. If your photo is being used for a company that requires the image - get any information on requirements prior to the shoot so you’re prepared. If this is for your own company or business think about what best represents you - there are no “shoulds”. If you always where jeans and a polo in your business - wear that! If you always wear suits - where your favorite one! Be sure to check under your package details to see how many outfits are included, for some sessions only 1 outfit is included but you may be able to add another look on for an additional fee. However, even if your photoshoot package & budget only allows one outfit - we always give a free consult when you arrive on what we think will look best. 

Posing 

We are experts at pose-coaching and will easily guide you through the photoshoot process. We’ll mirror the exact poses to you and guide you on how to place every part of your body right down to the fingers and toes! Facial expressions are perhaps the most important part of the pose & we’ve got you covered there also! We have techniques on how to bring about natural smiles that will convey a friendly, approachable friendly vibe for headshots. We also encourage you to get in the right headspace prior to the shoot. Luckily, Liza is an empath so she’ll be able to read your energy when you arrive and help coach you into the best headspace to capture the message you’re trying to convey in the headshot. During the shoot you may do eyes-closed exercises to help bring something you love into the mind’s focus, then open the eyes and look into the camera to capture that happy thought! Have insecurities? No problem. Liza is an expert at minimizing them - just tell her what they are when you arrive and trust her expertise to guide you through them. Often clients leave saying, that’s the only photo I’ve ever liked of me smiling or I never thought I’d like that pose while I was doing it, but it’s the best! So relax - we’ve got you covered and we’re confident you’ll love your results.
